They were designed with fit, function and ease of use in mind.   For the smallest setting of the diaper the front snaps down to make the diaper smaller.  For the medium size the diaper is on the larger snap setting.  For the large size the diaper is used in it's full size without any snap down settings.  Pocket diapers require absorbent material to be placed in the pocket of the diaper.  Each bumGenius diaper comes with an absorbant Cotton Babies One-Size insert and a newborn insert.
