Thanks Mama is a mother owned and operated company based in Stevensville, Michigan that opened its doors in January 2003. About 15 years ago I was looking through a baby catalog and came across modern cloth diapers. It was then that I decided that when I had a baby I would use cloth. Our first son was born in February 2002 and was in cloth by the time he was two weeks old. I still had some disposable reserves that I used when we were out of the house. I soon realized that going cloth full-time was easier. We have had lots of fun trying out the different kinds of cloth diapers. We had a month hiatus from cloth during a cross-country move and were all glad to get our cloth diapers unpacked! Even my husband agreed that using cloth diapers was easier. Now we have had the joy of using cloth diapers on three children. Our youngest son joined our family in January 2004 and our daughter joined us in April 2008.

Prior to my oldest son's birth I worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist with kids ranging from birth to 6th grade in Alaska, Texas, and Oregon. Now I get to experience first hand the joys of watching my children's language develop.

We also practice attachment parenting. My first son was a child who needed to be parented to sleep from the beginning so we discovered the joys and benefits of co-sleeping. We had difficulty with nursing at first, but by the time my son was a few months old we were able to kiss the formula goodbye. My son was called a kangaroo on more than one occasion because he loved his sling. He loved to be walked around, watch people, and sleep in the cozy cocoon the sling provided. It is not unusual for my daughter to be snuggly close to my heart in her Moby Wrap as I pack up your order.

Most of all I enjoy my time with my family. Being at home with my children is one of the best decisions I have made. Your business helps make my desire to stay home with my little ones a reality. Thank you so very much!
