The unique Flip Potty Training System comes with a one size waterproof shell and three organic cotton pads. The pads attach to the waterproof shell with hook and loop closures. When wet simply remove a pad and attach a clean one. The GroVia My Choice Trainer features a pocket where you can insert additional absorbency. This makes it a good option for night time or times away from the house. Take your pick of the many fashionable and cute prints on the Kushies Taffeta Training Pants. These pull-on training pants have a waterproof exterior and a flannel interior.
If you are looking for cloth training pants made out of natural fibers Thanks Mama has several different options. The popular Imse Vimse Organic Training Pants are soft inside and out. They have the fit and feel of thick underwear and are easy for your child to pull on and off. The EcoPosh Recycled Organic Training Pants are made from bamboo, organic cotton, and recycled water bottles. They also fit like thick underwear with softness inside and out. A hidden layer of waterproofing helps keep wetness inside. The merino wool in the Sustainablebabyish Underwoolies is soft and comfortable. These pull-on wool diaper covers can also be used as training pants.
You will typically need approximately 6 training pants for the potty training process. They should be washed every 2-3 days. When a training pant is soiled, shake off the soiled matter into the toilet. On wash day put the used training pants in the washing machine and run a rinse cycle. Follow the washing instructions for the individual training pants, but most suggest washing the training pants on hot or warm with ½ the recommended detergent. An extra rinse will help prevent detergent build-up which can cause odor problems.
