The Ergonomics of the Belle Baby Carrier

Many baby carriers on the market put unnecessary strain on the parent's back, causing back pain and causing many parents to wear their babies less. The Belle was designed with an independent waistbelt and cross-over shoulder straps. This design transfers the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips, using the same principles as high-quality outdoor backpacks designed to carry a large amount of weight. As a result, the Belle Baby Carrier is being called one of the most comfortable carriers on the market today.

What size is the Belle Baby Carrier and who does it fit?

Belle carriers come in one size and are automatically adjusted to fit most users. The waistbelt is 49 inches long. If you are a larger parent, we suggest you visit one of our dealers and try on the carrier to make sure it will work for you.

What are the weight limits and what do they mean?

The Belle is ideal for babies 8 – 30 pounds. For a smaller baby it is important to that your baby will fit in the carrier in the normal position – one leg out each side of the carrier - comfortably. We do not recommend folding your baby's legs inside the carrier as this may create a fall hazard.

The maximum weight for the Belle carrier is a matter of comfort and personal preference. The Belle carriers are extremely strong and can hold a heavy child. However, once a child reaches 25-30 pounds, many parents prefer to wear their children on their backs for a better center of gravity.

The Belle Baby Carrier is great if you're looking for something that's easy to use and where the baby can face in or out. I love how easy it is to put on, even with a fussy infant. It's more simple than other similar carriers, though it isn't for older babies like the Ergo.

The organic fabrics are excellent! So soft! I love it against the baby's skin and my own. I wouldn't say it is the most comf
