NoseFrida The Snotsucker
NoseFrida is a nasal aspirator designed to work with newborns, infants, and toddlers. If you have ever had to use a standard nasal aspirator you know how much babies hate it. The NoseFrida is more gentle for babies because nothing is placed inside the nose and the parent controls the amount of suction. The NoseFrida is placed at the base of baby's nose. The parent uses a mouthpiece to gently suck snot from baby's nose. The snot enters a hygiene filter to prevent the transfer of germs and snot.
The device comes apart and should be cleaned in warm soapy water after use. Reassemble with a new filter.
For really thick mucous place 1-2 saline drops in each nostril, wait a few seconds then use the NoseFrida. You may want to use the NoseFrida in a circular motion up against the base of the nose.
The NoseFrida is made of polypropylene that is latex-free and non-allergenic. The filter is made from moisture absorbing polyurethane. The NoseFrida contains no phthalates and is BPA free. It is manufactured in Sweden in accordance with the European Union environmental regulations. It is registered with the FDA.
It comes in a case measuring 7 x 3 inches. 4 hygiene filters are included. Additional filters are sold separately.
