The Econobum Diaper Cover can be used over the One Size Econobum Prefold or over any other prefold or fitted cloth diaper. It is made from 100% laminated polyester and uses the same waterproof material found in bumGenius and Flip Diapers. Elastic at the legs help provide a snug fit and prevent leaks. Snaps on the front panel of the diaper allow you to adjust the cover into three different sizes. This cover is designed to fit from 8-35 lbs. It attaches on your baby with snaps.
The Econobum Full Kit comes with everything you need to get started cloth diapering. It comes with 3 Econobum Diaper Covers, 12 One Size Econobum Prefolds, and a wet bag. If not soiled you can rinse out the cover and hang it to dry in between uses. For most older babies 12 prefolds are enough for daily washing. The One Size Econobum Prefolds are made from 6 layers of 100% unbleached Indian cotton. No diaper pins are necessary. Simply fold the prefold to the correct size for your baby and lay it in the diaper cover before fastening the cover onto your baby. The prefold diaper has fold lines sewn into the prefold to make it easier to use. When you receive your prefolds you will need to prewash them on hot at least 3-5 times before they become fully absorbent.
