Here is my chiropractic husband's opinion: Parenta should visually evaluate how spread apart the child's legs are forced to be while wearing the Ergo baby carrier. The legs are immobilized. Ask yourself: would you rather want your baby's legs to be forced spread apart or to be naturally close together? While wearing the Ergobaby carrier, the legs are spread about 160 degrees. The knees are creating a 90 degree angle. Draw a stick figure of this position. That is the definition of bow-leggedness. If you believe in chiropractic, then you will agree that all chiropractors believe that the body has a memory system. The tendons, ligaments, muscles, and bones will memorize a body position if they are always in the same position, like a person who regularly slouches. The legs being spread apart is not normal. A healthy human body does not walk with their legs spread apart. So why would you want your child's legs to remember the position to have the legs to be spread apart?

The ERGO does such a fantastic job of distributing the weight, it's so much easier on my back than most of the other carriers out there. My teenage daughter, husband, and many friends have tried my ERGO and they all comment about how comfortable it is, even with heavy babies/toddlers. I make sure that my ERGO is always in the car and I use it everytime I take the baby shopping.

We love the Ergo carrier! Ours is the Navy blue Organic. I love how easy it is to put on and the padding around the waist and shoulders. Easy to switch between mom, dad, and grandparents. A carrier like this is a MUST for travel! I have to say- now that I'm preggo and using only the back carry- I prefer my Boba carrier because the waist clasp goes in the middle of my waist instead of the side like
