Columbia Staircase Bunk Bed Twin over Twin

This durable staircase bunk bed from Atlantic Furniture comes in three different finishes. The staircase has built-in storage drawers. A built-in modesty panel and a mission style design with matching side rails make the Columbia Bunk Bed a great addition to your child's bedroom. This sturdy bunk is comprised of eco-friendly hardwood and uses 26 steel reinforcement points. Rubberwood is an eco-friendly hardwood. When a rubberwood tree stops producing latex the trees are removed and replaced with seedlings.

The Columbia Bunk Beds use a secure hook and pin rail system. The rails hook onto metal pins at two different height levels. If you purchase the optional drawers or trundle bed use the higher rail setting. The bunk bed comes with two 14 piece slat kits designed to support a mattress. The drawers have English dovetail joinery and ball bearing drawer guides that are side mounted.

Atlantic Furniture uses a five step finishing process to create a durable finish that will last for years. After the initial sanding a sealer is placed on the wood. Once that is dry, a tinted sealer is used to make the grain and color even. After another sanding a base color coat is applied. This sanding and color coat process is repeated before a final sanding and finish is applied.

Assembly is required. Mattresses are not included.
