These are great diapers. We have used them for over a year now. The extra material is simply folded over in the area that needs it most, for my child I put it in the front when she sleeps and low when she is up and about. They have held up well. We sun briefly to remove any stains. Daycare loves them too.

I was very dissatisfied with the new organic bum Genius diapers. The organic cotton gets stained after only a hand full of uses and it gives the diaper a dirty feel. Furthermore the inside design seems uncomfortable, the material is somehow too long, and you don't know whether to fold it up front, or at the back, both seem somehow not to work. It also seem to cause the diaper to leak. I must say I loved the design of the other bum genius diapers, with the two attached inserts, no idea why they changed that. Very disapointed customer.
