Britax Baby Carrier

This baby carrier from Britax is a front carrier that allows you to carry your little one facing in or out. The padded shoulders straps and waist belt help spread your baby's weight across your back, shoulders, and hips. Designed for babies from 8-32 lbs this baby carrier should be used with your baby facing in until your baby is 14 lbs with good head and neck control. Once your baby has good head and neck control and is at least 14 lbs, your baby can be worn facing out.

The Britax Baby Carrier comes with an infant insert. An additional seat extender insert for babies over 14 lbs can be purchased separately. Both the infant insert an the additional seat extender insert are designed to create a natural seating position. They allow your child's legs and thighs to be splayed in a squatting position. This provides more comfort for your baby and better weight distribution. The inserts are to be used when your child is in the facing in position. The infant insert should not be used once your baby's ears have reached the top of the carrier.

Carrying positions:

Facing in with the infant insert for babies 8-14 lbs.

Facing in with no insert for babies 14+ lbs.

Facing in with the seat extender insert (sold separately) for babies 14+ lbs.

Outward facing for babies 14+ lbs with good head and neck control.

The standard Britax Baby Carrier comes in navy and black. The outer material is made from 100% polyester and the inner fabric is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The organic Britax Baby Carrier is available in tan. For the organic baby carrier the outer material is organic cotton and the inner material is organic cotton. For both carriers the bib is made from 100% cotton.
