Best Bottom Inserts

Best Bottom†offers a selection of snap-in inserts to customize your Best Bottom Cloth Diaper to suit your baby. All the inserts are trim and come in three sizes.

Size:

All inserts come in a small, medium, and large size. While sizing is approximate these are the typical settings:

Small: birth - 14 lbs

Medium: 11-22 lbs

Large: 16-35 lbs

Stay Dry Inserts

These snap-in inserts contain 4 layers of microfiber topped with a layer of soft no-pill microfleece that is designed to wick away any moisture to help your baby feel dry.

Hemp/Organic Cotton Inserts

The hemp/organic cotton inserts are made from 5 layers of thirsty hemp and organic cotton. Against baby's skin is a layer of soft hemp/organic cotton fleece. Finally a†cloth diaper that will allow your baby to wear jeans. This trim and absorbent insert combined with the Best Bottom shell is trim enough to permit your baby to fit into jeans.

Microfiber Overnight Inserts

Add 6 layers of absorbency for overnight. Just snap the overnight insert into your Best Bottom shell†and then snap on a Stay Dry Insert or a Hemp/Organic Cotton Insert on top.

Hemp/Organic Cotton Overnight Inserts

This insert is made from hemp/organic cotton and topped with soft hemp/organic cotton fleece. Snap it in a Best Bottom shell and snap a Stay Dry Insert or a Hemp/Organic Cotton Insert on top.

The overnight inserts are not designed to be used alone, but with a standard Microfiber or Hemp/Organic cotton Insert on top.

Materials and Manufacturing:

Best Bottom†uses as many raw materials made in the USA that they can locate. All inserts are made in the USA at local factories to help the local economy and reduce their environmental fooprint.

Care:

Microfiber Inserts and Microfiber Overnight Inserts should be washed once before using. The Hemp/Organic Cotton Inserts and the Hemp/Organic Cotton Overnight Inserts should be washed and dried 4-6 times before they become absorbent. The hemp inserts will shrink to fit once they are washed.

Remove the wet or soiled insert from the Best Bottom shell. Shake off any solids and place it in a dry pail. Run a cold rinse then a hot or warm wash. Use 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended amount of an additive-free detergent. Then complete a final rinse. Line or tumble dry. Wash every 2-3 days.

Do not use fabric softeners or rash creams. When rash creams are necessary, use a†flushable liner or a cloth wipe†to prevent the cream from getting on the Best Bottom Diaper System. Because this system is trim it takes up less room in the washer. As a result it agitates better getting diapers cleaner than other cloth diaper systems.
