Basic Newborn Package

This package will give you what you need to start cloth diapering your newborn. We have selected a sampling of  cloth diapers and  cloth diaper covers that will work for a newborn. You will be able to try out different ways to cloth diaper such as using prefolds, fitted cloth diapers, contour cloth diapers, and all in one cloth diapers.

This will give you what you need for washing daily. Newborns typically need about 12-15 cloth diapers per day. Although cloth diaper manufacturers may have different sizing recommendations - the cloth diapers and cloth diaper covers chosen will generally fit from about 6-10 lbs. Some may start fitting at 4 lbs and some may fit up to 13-15 lbs depending on the item. If you expect a large newborn around 10 lbs you may find some of the items to be too small. The BumGenius comes in white and a variety of colors. The medium Bummis tote comes in blue, purple, and red. Choices are made based on what we have in stock. Most items come in white. We may substitute a print or color for an out of stock white product. Please indicate if you prefer neutral items, no boyish items, or no girlish items. If you choose "neutral" you will not receive any pink, lavender, flower, cars and trucks, or blue items. If you choose "no girlish" you will not receive any pink, lavender or flowery items. If you choose "no boyish" you will not receive any blue or cars and trucks items.
