Excellent UV protection for your child

The BABYBJORN Sun Cover for Baby Carrier provides excellent sun protection for your child's sensitive skin. The light fabric is breathable, but still provides good wind protection. The sun cover also features a protective, detachable hood. It can be used both when you carry your child facing you or facing forward. You can even lift your child out of the baby carrier without taking the sun cover off. The baby carrier is easy to put on and take off without assistance and all adjustments are easily made from the front. As with all BABYBJORN baby carriers, it was developed in collaboration with medical experts to suit newborns optimally

Airy, windproof fabric Made from thin textiles with mesh openings in the hood for ventilation.

Flexible You can use the sun cover both when carrying your child facing you or facing forward. The hood is detachable and can be used separately.

The BABYBJORN Sun Cover for Baby Carrier can be used with the BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Original, BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Air, BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active, and BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Synergy, but not with BABYBJORN Comfort Carrier.

Sun Protection

Ultra violet protection factor UPF 40, which blocks out 97% of all harmful UV radiation. UPF is the global rating system for sun protective clothing. Testing is done against the Australian/New Zealand Standard 4399:1996.

Materials

100% polyester fabric. The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products.

They are guaranteed harmless to children's sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.

Product care

Machine wash, warm (40 C).

Keep in mind:

Check the UV index for your area daily. If the UV index is 3 or higher, you and your child should stay in the shade.

Avoid exposure to the sun completely 10 am – 3 pm. Remember that the sun's rays reach areas in the shade and radiation can be high even on a cloudy day. When you are in the sun, keep an eye on your child and make certain that he or she is not too hot. Make sure your child's entire body is protected, including hands and feet.
